| WHEELCHAIRS
Manual Wheelchairs, Lightweight Wheelchairs, Power Wheelchairs, Heavy-Duty Wheelchairs, Reclining Wheelchairs, and Power Scooters
We offer a wide variety of transport, standard, lightweight, heavy-duty and reclining wheelchairs. All of the wheelchairs we provide fold for storage and transportation, and include removable, swing-away footrests. For most of the wheelchairs, the footrests can be substituted with removable elevating leg rests as an option. Additional options may include wheelchairs that offer multiple seat, armrest, frame color and wheel options, depending on the model.
Standard, lightweight and heavy-duty wheelchairs can either be pushed by someone from behind or can be propelled by the person in the wheelchair by means of hand rims attached to the two larger rear wheels. Reclining wheelchairs are operated similar to standard wheelchairs with the additional feature of a reclining back, which is operated only by someone from behind the chair. A reclining back is especially important for individuals who cannot sit in a full-upright position. |
